Detail of embroidery
A bit late in posting about it, but I did it! I finished my Tunisian stitch tablerunner, and got it all decked out with some embroidered fireworks and fringe to become my first official Fourth of July decorations.

Okay, so it has it's imperfections. It took three skeins of yarn, and that first one (on the right of the runner) was obviously from a different dye lot. I lost a couple of stitches along the way, hence the bump on the top. And either I accidentally switched to a smaller hook at some point or my tension got tighter as I became more comfortable with the technique.
But I love it! Imperfections, I embrace you!
